The U.S. corn crop continues to produce record yields. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) partnered with two grain dryer equipment manufacturers to test and commercialize more efficient grain dryer equipment to ensure propane remains the fuel of choice for grain handling and storage systems.

PERC partnered with GSI to fund research that proved the efficiency of GSI’s X-Stream dryer and inverter technology, which allows grain to dry more evenly. With support from PERC Mathews Company developed and field-tested the new Trilogy Series grain dryer that offers the versatility to operate in three different modes – vacuum cool/pressure heat, pressure cool/pressure heat and full heat.

PERC is committed to helping America’s farmers and ranchers efficiently power their operations. Visit www.agpropane.com for more information about propane-fueled grain drying and other PERC agricultural programs.
